Series aero
The SmartHeat aero is a versatile, compact air/water heat pump for outdoor installation. It extracts heat from the air, be it the ambient air or air escaping from an exhaust system. The aero units come with high-efficiency scroll compressors for multi-stage output adjustment or inverter technology.
Thanks to the wide range of accessories and extras available for the SmartHeat aero units, these air/water heat pumps can be optimised to suit the actual project. It is therefore possible achieve up to 176 kW with a single unit, also available as high-temperature version.
The aero (plus) with a capacity from 31 kW is a professional all-rounder. Whether new construction or refurbishment, whether heating or cooling: perfect for high performance and uncomplicated installation. Even the installation on the roof is feasible. The aero (plus) air / water heat pumps continue to score with their high flow temperatures, their elegant restrained design and their compact installation - now in split version too.

Energy label
Heat pumps of the SmartHeat series aero are full of energy. Get a COP to 5.0 and the energy efficiency class up to A++. Thus, the SmartHeat aero represents an ideal and sustainable solution to the heating and also cooling (reversible heat pumps).

Packed with technology – SmartHeat aero plus
The SmartHeat aero plus is a very special unit, offering exceptional advantages when it comes to operating range and heating flow temperature. Using EVI (Enhanced Vapour Injection) technology, the operating range of this model has been expanded significantly. Enhanced vapour injection cools the refrigerant, which can then be compressed to a much higher degree than would be otherwise possible.
This ensures excellent COPs even with low outdoor temperatures and high heating flow temperatures (e.g. at - 20°C just 50 °C).
