New grants and higher promotional loans by the KfW

The German "Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau" (KfW) as the world's largest national promotional bank finances for some inter alia the construction or purchase of energy-efficient houses or the renovation of existing buildings by modernisation of the heating system time by cheap loans. Partially these measure can be combined with those from the Market Incentive Program (MAP) of the German BAFA.

From 01 January 2016, the KfW also grants subsidies for the heating exchange and installation of a ventilation system. When replacing the heating inefficient systems are replaced by efficient plants. This must be done in conjunction with an optimization of the entire system. Funding is 15%, an thereby a maximum of € 7,500 per unit.

When constructing energy-efficient buildings, the maximum aid amounts as of 01 April 2016 will be doubled compared to the previous amount. Instead of the previous € 50,000 the KfW granted then a maximum of € 100,000 per unit.
