Heat pumps in use

According to its own information, the Hofheim Veterinary Clinic is one of the largest small animal clinics in Germany with around 170 employees today. The best medical care with state-of-the-art procedures and equipment with a sustainable focus are the guiding principles of this veterinary clinic.

Completed in August 2011, the five new residential buildings of Wohnungsbau-Genossenschaft "Erfurt" eG in Christian-Kittel-Straße are part of a holistically planned building complex in the south of Erfurt. The residential complex consists of individual four-storey buildings with full basements.

The new building of today's Evangelical Ursula-Wölfel Primary School Teltow was opened with enthusiasm and colorful balloons in April 2012. The heat pump used is just as unique as this school building.

The newest daycare facility of the Berlin Volkssolidarität is located in the district of Lichtenberg and integrates the family center "Familien auf Trab". The choice of heating system is also "on the move" here. Two aero 080 heat pumps from the manufacturer SmartHeat were planned and implemented.

Homburg is the district town of the Saarpfalz district and the third largest town in Saarland with a population of around 42 thousend. It is also home to the Kombibad Homburg, which, in addition to its swimming facilities with several pools, also offers an extensive sauna area with Japanese-inspired architecture.

A family living in a small village in Mecklenburg opted for a classic heat pump for their newly built detached house in 2001. Even though the appearance of the house has changed over the years due to structural modifications and the family has doubled in size, the heating system has not changed.

The Brinkmann-Bleimann GmbH car dealership also relies on SmartHeat at its Güstrow site. In addition to the existing oil heating system, a SmartHeat aero 080 has been providing pleasant temperatures during the heating season since 2013, using underfloor heating or air registers in the workshop area.

The requirements for a heat supply concept are constantly increasing. Stricter legal changes have just as much influence as investment and running costs. On May 16, 2002, the largest solar thermal system in Lower Saxony was officially inaugurated at the Emden- Borssum municipal outdoor pool by the Mayor of Emden, Alwin Brinkmann, and the Managing Director of Stadtwerke Emden GmbH, Remmer Edzards.
