Heat pump giants for private hospital in China
The largest SmartHeat Titan heat pumps to date left our factory in Güstrow safely packaged, with great spectacle and glorious sunshine. For a full four weeks, the SmartHeat team's main task was individual project-specific production. Individual heat pumps were created - Made in Germany, equipped with SmartHeat know-how, special construction and branded components.
These gigantic heat pumps were planned to heat a new hospital in the Hainan region of China. The multi-storey new building has a usable area of over 45,000 m2 and offers space for 325 beds in addition to treatment and operating rooms.
For the first time in the company's history, outside help was needed to load the devices onto the truck. The two large Titan heat pumps, which together have an output of 3 MW, were loaded using a mobile crane. Each device weighs an impressive 5.2 t.
